Domestic DC drive locomotives are mainly divided into two categories: diesel locomotives (Dongfeng series) and electric locomotives (Shaoshan series). The working power supply (i.e., the basic power supply) of the air conditioner on the diesel locomotive is provided by the auxiliary generator (referred to as "auxiliary generator") on the locomotive. This power supply is DC 110V+20%-30% sent to the air conditioning dedicated power supply, and then the air conditioning dedicated power supply supplies power to the air conditioning compressor and indoor and outdoor fans. The working power supply (i.e., the basic power supply) of the air conditioner on the electric locomotive is obtained from the high-voltage power grid through the locomotive pantograph, converted by the chopper, and then output to the air conditioning dedicated power supply, and then the air conditioning dedicated power supply supplies power to the air conditioning compressor and indoor and outdoor fans. The system control power supply is DC 110V, provided by the locomotive battery pack. The working power supply of the air conditioner on the domestic AC drive locomotive (Harmonious type high-power locomotive) is directly provided by the auxiliary converter of the locomotive.
